Summary: “I’ve left some clues for you. If you want them, turn the page. If you don’t, put the book back on the shelf, please.” So begins the latest whirlwind romance from the New York Timesbestselling authors of Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a comic mismatch of disastrous proportions?

My Thoughts:

Why, why, why???

Why am I the only one who is not fond of this book?

Why I had hard time reading it, it is only 260 pages!

Why do I need to read this book at the most festive time of my year?

Clearly I am so disappointed in this book. It is my last read for 2011 and I am, hoping that I will end it up with a bang! But sadly, it didn’t happen. I am so frustrated!!!
I am not impressed with the characters. Lily is not remarkable one, too whiny, too immature. Dash is well, snarly, and too rude to like him. I am just not fascinated with them.

Plot is very intriguing. That is the main reason why I bought the book and read it in time for holiday season. The way it was executed is pretty ok. But the characters ruined the experience for me. To be honest, the story did not registered to me much for sure that after a week or so I will forget the story entirely. What a waste of my precious time!
