Summary:
When Ginny receives thirteen little blue envelopes and instructions to buy a plane ticket to London, she knows something exciting is going to happen. What Ginny doesn't know is that she will have the adventure of her life and it will change her in more ways than one. Life and love are waiting for her across the Atlantic, and the thirteen little blue envelopes are the key to finding them in this funny, romantic, heartbreaking novel

My Thoughts:

I really, really had fun reading this book. It’s light, fun, full of adventures and surprisingly a depth in the story that I didn’t expect.

The dares in the letters from Ginny’s aunt is not that hard, it is just simple, but the lesson and story behind that is just amazing. Ginny is not the only one who is travelling, while reading this book it felt like I am also a part of it.

I love the characters, Ginny, Keith, Richard and the people she met along the way. They are just ordinary people like us, no pretentions, no sugar coating on anything. I love that they are all imperfect and act normally.

Like I said, I really had fun reading this book. It is my first Maureen Johnson book and I can’t wait to read more of her works. Her writing style is just awesome!
